Working with older people living with dementia in the community is becoming increasingly complex under the Support at Home model. Occupational Therapists are balancing reablement expectations, functional decline, risk management, caregiver pressures, limited service hours, and growing system demands, often within tight funding and operational constraints.

This webinar is designed specifically for community and aged care Occupational Therapists who want a clearer understanding of dementia presentations, evidence-based intervention approaches, and how to translate theory into realistic community practice.

In this webinar, we explore dementia through an occupational therapy lens - function, participation, cognition, environment, routines, safety, and quality of life and provide practical clinical insights relevant to day-to-day OT practice in community aged care.
