Empowering OTs to turn policy into practice and values into action

Join the Community Aged Care
OT Mentoring Circle

Practicing as an OT in community aged care has never felt more complex.

Between ongoing sector reforms, changing funding models, increasing client needs, and the reality of working in professional isolation, it’s easy to feel like you’re carrying the weight alone. But you don’t have to.

At Way Forward OT, my mission has always been to bring OTs together, stay informed, supported, and equipped to focus on the work that really matters: client care, clinical reasoning, and professional integrity.

That’s why I’ve created the Community OT Mentoring Circle - a practical, collaborative space where we make sense of the system together.

This is your space to pause, reflect, ask questions, and strengthen your practice, without getting lost in the noise of policy updates, provider demands, or system fatigue.

Step into a space built for OTs navigating community care

A mentoring circle designed for sole traders, subcontractors, and community OTs who want more than just answers, they want connection, clarity, and confidence.

  • Learn in real-time: Bring your real-world cases and workshop them with OT peers who are facing similar challenges. Can't make it live? All sessions recordings will be made available for re-watch.

  • Practice with confidence: Build clinical reasoning skills, test ideas, and make decisions that align with both policy and your professional values.

  • Navigate sector challenges: Strengthen the parts of practice no one teaches you.

  • Lean on your people: Be part of a trusted group of OTs who understand the complexity of aged care work and the isolation that can come with it.

  • Reflect safely: Ask questions, test your thinking, and share insights without judgement.

This is your space to connect, clarify, and sustain your practice - together.

What Will You Gain?

Starting November, we’re entering a new chapter in aged care. If you’re working as a sole trader, subcontractor, or independent community OT, you’ll be facing new systems, tighter funding rules, and growing complexity.

This mentoring circle is designed to keep you confident, connected, and clinically sharp during this transition.
